Let's Talk about oils!

Essential oils are concentrated compounds extracted from plants with a retained aroma of that plant. Each plant has specific health benefits.

Here are our TOP favs at our house!


1.) Peppermint Essential Oil-

Ways to use it:

Soak in Epsom salt bath and add them to the tub for an invigorating bath.

Tackle head tension. Dilute Peppermint with a few drops of carrier oil and apply to your neck, temples, and jawline for some relief.

Freshen your hair oil. Add 2 drops of Peppermint to a small amount of hair oil for a fresh invigorating sent.

Add a drop to the tip of you tongue to freshen breath

Breathe in the aroma to clear stuffy nose

*Use speramint oil if expecting


2.)Thieves Essential Oil-

Ways to use it:

Rub on chest and feet to boost Immune System

Refresh musty towels by adding 5 drops of Thieves to a load of laundry and detergent.

Buy Thieves Cleaning solution and use as home cleaner product

Take Thieves on the go with Thieves Roll-On

Diffuse in Kids rooms when sick or to prevent sickness


3.) Lavender Essential Oil-

Ways to use it:

A fresh floral aroma adds a feminine touch to unscented lotion.

Mix 1 cup of distilled water and 10 drops of Lavender in a glass spray bottle. Spritz the air, blankets, and carpets for a sweet springtime scent.

Add a drop to soothe skin irritates or bug bites

Mix with aloe gel for sunburns

Breathe in or diffuse to help relax and calm anxiety

4.) Lemon Essential Oil-

Ways to use it:

Add to lukewarm water first thing in morning and drink before eating to help detoxify liver and get digestive tract going for the day

Use to erase sticky residue from stickers and gum when applied directly

Put a few drops on a cotton ball and stash it in your garbage or places that smell.

Add a drop of Lemon to your night cream for a bright complexion.


5.) Purification Essential Oil-

Ways to use it:

Add a few drops to your washing machine before doing a load of laundry for a clean aroma.

Add a few drops to your air filter before placing in furnace

Add to baking soda and sprinkle on carpets before vacuuming


6.) Palmarosa Essential Oil-

Ways to use it:

Good for any skin conditions to help fight off bacteria such as cuts, bruises, and acne.

I've found it to work best for treating eczema or psoriasis by adding to flax seed oil and rubbing it on the skin


7.) Tea Tree Essential Oil-

Ways to use it:

Best oil known to treat acne due to its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.

Add a drop to you favorite face serums to reduce acne scars, and help to prevent future breakouts


8.) Lady Sclareol Essential Oil-

Ways to use it:

Made specifically for woman to balance hormones, improve emotions, relief of PMS, and promoting love and unity.

Add a few drops to your lotion or to a bath

Use as a perfume by adding a drop to neck and wrists

9.) Frankincense Essential Oil-

Ways to use it:

Rub a drop on your chest before your daily yoga or meditation.

Add to your daily face Moisturizer to help with dry skin and prevent wrinkles

Make a beard oil using 2 ounces of carrier oil and 10 drops each of Frankincense, Myrrh, and Sage.

Diffuse to promote a calm environment


10.) Gentle Baby Essential Oil-

Ways to use it:

This is a blend to promote calmness and tranquility to parents and children

Has a sweet aroma

Diffuse at night to wind-down

Apply to wrist for comforting aroma throughout day

Add a few drops to diffuser or bath at night


11.) Peace & calming Essential Oil-

Ways to use it:

Use it in your Car Vent Diffuser to help you chill out during commutes and carpools.

Wear it as a personal fragrance on your neck and wrists.

Add ¼ cup of Epsom salt and 2 drops of Peace & Calming to hot water for a soothing foot soak before bed.

Add a few drops to your nighttime lotion to promote restful sleep


12.) Stress away Essential Oil-

Ways to use it:

Massage it into your feet with carrier oil after a long day.

Create a salt scrub by adding 10-15 drops of Stress Away to 1 cup of sea salt and ½ cup of coconut oil.

Place a few drops into a Bath with lavender oil.

Diffuse to promote an uplifting spirit
