Buffalo Poppyseed Ham Sandwiches
Ingredients:
1 pkg of Whole wheat, all natural Hawaiian buns - original recipe: white Hawaiian buns
1 pkg of organic pepper jack cheese (or vegan cheese if dairy free) - original recipe: processed cheese
1/2 lb of wild bore or organic grass fed pork - original recipe: processed deli meat
1 cup new primal buffalo sauce or any organic sauce - original recipe: buffalo sauce with additives
1/2 c. grass fed butter or ghee - original recipe - processed butter
2 tbsp poppyseeds
1 tsp garlic seasoning
pepper to taste
1 tsp onion flakes
banana peppers (optional)
Directions:
In a sauce pan, melt down butter, buffalo sauce, and seasonings. Once melted turn off heat and add in poppy seeds.
Cut buns in half and place the bottoms in a 9 X 13 pan while sauce is melting. Layer with cheese, meat, and banana peppers (if using)
Put tops on the buns and pour sauce over sandwiches.
Cover with foil and place in oven at 350 for 30-40 mins until golden brown.
Let cool and serve or package them in freezer paper and store in freezer for a meal on the go.
