Holiday Stuffing

If you're looking for a healthier version of stuffing with all the same deliciousness of the unhealthy stuff, this recipe is for you!

Ingredients:

1 loaf of gluten free bread; cubed

3 sage leaves; chopped

3 celery stocks; chopped

1-1/2 yellow onion; chopped

3 garlic cloves; chopped

3 eggs

salt and pepper to taste

3 thyme sprigs; chopped

1 rosemary sprig; chopped

handful of parsley; chopped

olive oil

I box or fresh chicken/turkey stock


Directions:

The day before cooking, cut or tear bread loaf into small pieces and leave out uncovered overnight in a bowl.

The day of, dice up celery, onion, and garlic cloves. Sauce in a pan with olive oil until translucent. let cool slightly.

In small bowl mix together eggs, celery, onion, garlic, and herbs.

Pour over bread and mix well.

Place into a large 9X13 pan

In pot warm up the stock and pour into pan with the bread mixture.

Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes covered, uncover the last 5 minutes or until golden brown.
